I've stayed away to some extent simply to allow myself time to focus on family and other things going on.

DS1 is doing well. Some ups and some downs. He was thrilled recently as he is "Joseph" in the SS nativity. He said of course he had to be it, as that's his middle name. Grin Ah, the logic.

DS2 is also doing well. His head is finally healing after that horrible gash that had to be glued shut (and he reopened twice!). He is struggling a bit in school. There is some concern about dyslexia and a problem with visual memory, so we're looking into this a bit.

I'm still plodding along, really. H & I still separated, although he has recently stated that he realised it's because of his behaviour and that he was in the wrong. He has stated that he will agree to whatever is necessary to fix things, including counselling and getting his drivers licence as well as being a more active parent. He has shown some improvement in that regard, which is heartening. And he is not pushing for decisions, he understands that I want time to think about things and that he needs time to show that he is making steps to improve and change his behaviour. I refuse to just jump back into things, but I am willing to keep the door open to discuss a reconciliation if it seems the right thing to do further down the line.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will pop on here more, but definitely am avoiding the AIBU area, as that seems to wind me up too much. Grin

Hellloooo!

Lovely to see you. Glad that things are going ok, I love that ds1 is going to be Joseph, very sweet.

Dd2 is being assessed for dyslexia also, and seems to have visual disturbances, as well as a resurgence in her stammer - we will have to compare notes on progress!

I haven't noticed so much crap on AIBU lately, but haven't been venturing there as much lately.

Hi trigglesx nice to see you.

Dd3 is having an EP assessment this afternoon and I am half expecting to be told that she has some dyslexia issues going on too.

Great news about your Ds1 and very positive about your H.

I steer clear of AIBU too. It is a nightmare over there.

Good luck Smile
