Knowledge/experience of CP?

I really want to help Anh but have limited knowledge of CP.

What basic materials might make life easier for him and his family? People only get about $6-$9 of disability per month (if they get any) and nappies, etc aren't used as families usually can't afford them. Is there something that really helped you long term? The article didn't mention if he has a wheelchair. That is easy to get, a simple "Vietnamese style" chair is $100.

Just thought of something..... Is there such a thing as a big folding floor mat? I have visited a few families and one boy banged his head on the hard floor.

Technology stuff is usually too advanced and families lift the young people, so no hoist or anything.
