Lougles thread has prompted me to upload a video of ds. I was wondering if I could PM the link to someone to see if they see anything? Is this normal or is it just adhd (his dx) or is it also underlying asd (what they suspect)?

Am nervous sharing it and will delete once some people have seen it. Please please, if I pm you, promise not to forward the link, copy the link etc?

I have 2ds's with both adhd and asd, they are grown up now, it's hard sometimes to tell if the symptoms are the asd or the adhd as some overlap iyswim,my younger ds has quite severe adhd, it was explained to me as a clock, 1 being slight adhd, 12 being the worst, they told me my ds was an 11, but took me till he was 14 to get him dx, (not through lack of trying on my part)

It is usually calm. Teeth bed and stories if not too late.

Yes he debates like that a lot. Or you ask him to say, brush his teeth and he will ask what teeth are or what water is. It exhausting!

Was I dealing with it ok? Any tips? We are new to this so totally lost! I did try mirroring today and that seemed to work a little?

Sorry he is eight and this was about two months ago? We have been working recently on things like giving his anxiety a name and his anger a name ( using the red beast book discussed in here) so I can ask him how his beast was today to gauge where he is at.

We have now changed hi room btw and it is much more bare.
