I have found your topic group while trying to google for my Makaton gaps! I have done the course to lvl 6 but now I am trying to use it in my pre-school and there is always a word I am missing!! I will eventually buy all the books (as I completely understand they are a charity) but in the mean time its a bit frustrating!!

Can anyone tell me the sign for 'something' or 'must' please?? I have even watched Mr tumble but it is becoming time consuming!!
Thank you!

something: both hands with index finger pointing up and rest of fingers tucked into fist, tap sides of hand together twice with palms facing you.
must: (this is bsl but makaton is often the same/similar) bent elbows, hands out straight in front with palms facing each other, move arms down in a short sharp motion.
Hope that makes sense Smile

Anyone know the Makaton (or BSL) sign for bee?

bee: O hand (like you've just picked up a tiny bit of fluff) and move forward like a bee flying in a wiggly line. Fly is the same, this is bsl Smile
