20th wedding anniversary ideas?????

Ok, now I am really showing my age (child bride obv!) but it is our 20th wedding anniversary after Christmas and all my ideas of planning a wonderful break for us all (Paris/New York etc)have been totally destroyed by the financially and emotionally relentless battles we have faced with the LA this year. This has left us soooooo skint.

So anyone got any ideas of how to do something special but cheap.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

And do you have respite / child care?

Thanks. We went to Madrid for our honeymoon so that is out.

Bit stupid getting married on NYE really, never get babysitters!!

No chance of anyone having kids but, heh, we are used to that.

Budget - could stick it on the plastic, would like to keep it around 500 quid all in.

Will both be off so can take a few days- week.

We spent our 20th anniversary of living in sinWink on a canal boat.
We hired it locally (incase ds didn't settle. And I could take him home leaving the others) but he loved itSmile.
Best weekend we've had as a family even if ds did say hi hi captain constantly for 3 daysSmile
