Possible ASD.... Changing his ways ...

I have a almost 4 year old son awaiting ASD assessment !

I understand that as he is growing older he will change generally but things constantly change with him and he is very confusing (from a sn point of view )

Although he doesn't just lash out and hit children anymore his new thing is hiding and shouting at the top of his lungs 'be quiet'.

He is stimming a lot more although he's managing so to speak the social side . Hitting himself with toys and his hands , ??????shakes his head whilst making noises and running in circles (15 mins yesterday without stopping ) he also has what I would call on the brink of OCD with dirt on him , food touching but ott about it .

When there is to much going on it seems heightened example a couple round having a chat he can't deal with and will shout at us .

He's a puzzle and sometimes I wonder is there something or not ?? He is settled in school at the moment.

Are these normal behaviours for a 4 year old ? I'm asking because as you will know as sn parents you get cought up in it all and I'm struggling to see what is and what isn't with him being my eldest child .

Thank you and sorry about the long thread .
