Could do with a few honks for tomorrow!

Dd3 has been having a horrible time at school since she went back in September. We have been in numerous times and even the SENCO expressed her concern for Dd3's mental health at the beginning of the month.

To cut a really long story short she had an extended half term holiday because she was so stressed that I kept her at home for the last 3 days of term.

We have asked for her to be moved into the parallel class and find out tomorrow if this is going to happen. Relations are pretty bad and lots of emails and meetings have already happened with few results.

So tomorrow is D-day and I would really rather not send her until it is sorted but I am worried that if I dont send her tomorrow I might never get her back.

Why does it have to be so difficult!

I have put in a parental request for SA and the paperwork is all ready to go too but none of that matters if she is going to be so stressed for the rest of the year Sad

What an unpleasant and worrying situation for you and your dd. I really hope they are able to move her to the parallel class. Will have fingers crossed for you tomorrow and hope that the school are able to sort it for you (and not compound your stressSad). Very good luck with the SA.

Honking for you, Ineed. I'm so sorry it's all gone pear shaped this year. Just goes to show that even in a sympathetic and helpful school, so much can depend on the class teacher. Your DD needs that statement, at least if things are tricky at the moment, it's providing good evidence. Just a shame it's at the expense of your DD's anxiety levels.

Honk honk honk.
