Well it went ok today, he performed beautifully- with 3 meltdowns and 2 of them in front of the nurse who said that i was worrying unecessarily, i feel justified in a strange sort of way!
He freaked when they took his blood pressure, put plasters on his arm and inserted the needle but apart from that he was ok.
He went to sleep with his beloved Spongebob and the first thing he said when he woke up to the recovery nurse was "do you like spongebob?"!
He was very brave and im very proud of him as i know he was frightened.
They havent managed to get all the cyst out as its deeply imbedded under the eye muscle so he will have to go to Manchester Childrens hospital for a further operation at some point.
Its awful when you watch your child being put to sleep, i wanted to shake him and say "wake up"!!!
