It's the school halloween disco tonight and DD is too frightened to go

Her friend is also not a fan of a huge hall full of screeching children dressed up in fake blood and ghostly masks

So they are here.
We are having hot dogs for tea, they are currently threading beads for halloween jewellery and afterwards we are making shadow puppets.

DD hasn't stopped talking and jumping and her friend is selectively mute.
