RANT ALERT...............

Today me and DH took DS swimming to the health club that we are members of, we have taken him loads of time before at the same time after 2pm when children are allowed in.

Today it was full of old ladies (Bids)

DS was having a great time splashing around and laughing with me and DH when we saw an old lady shaking her head at us then she got out of the pool and went up to the attendent and started pointing over at us.
I bristled and started glaring back, while the attendent just shrugged his shoulders and didnt say or do anything.

DS was not splashing near anyone, we dont let him do that and he wasnt getting in anybodys way he was just enjoying himself.

I was so annoyed and have been all afternoon, the times specifically say kids from 9-12 then adult swim 12-2 then kids are allowed back in from 2-5 so what was her problem?

Oooh it has made me feel angry but dh lightened the mood by making a loud comment about old snails in the pool (childish i know but made me laugh)

The answer is clear - you said it yourself ......."he was just enjoying himself". Some people just can't bear others to have any fun.
Ignore them!

Talking of fun - Isn't it this week you have your hospital trip? Do hope that nurse is on duty! Hope all goes well.

Wow you must be exhausted! Perhaps it's just me (?) but I find DD's hospital appointments so draining even for something really straightforward like a check up and I get myself really worked up about them. I know it's daft and I'm usually a reasonably calm person about other things but they get to me every time.

No wonder you needed a good splash in the pool for some light relief. Good luck!

Sorry hadn't noticed your other post re. today's EEG before replying on here. Think you need a large drink after the day you've had. Hope Thursday is less traumatic .......at least you'll have the professional who can cope with anything.
