DS (nearly 5), has what I call a 'thinking noise' which he starts nearly every sentence with, 'up'
So if you ask him a Q then he'd say 'up, it was spaghetti for lunch'
We've sort of got used to it but a few people have commented on it recently (out if school, they haven't said anything). One was my FIL who was sort of taking the mickey by repeating it back to DS which annoyed me as I don't think DS is aware he does it.
He's been doing it for around 2 months (started just before he began school)
He's settled into school really well.
What is this? Would it just be a little tic? I feel he'll outgrow it. As I say I'm not concerned, so should probably just not care what anyone else says if I don't care!
DS is under a development pediatrician but we've never gone for formal dx of anything as DS not keen to; he's in mainstream school he does seem to be doing really well.
