I woke up this morning feeling ok about things..I had not opened the letter box. I have been having a love affair with laudree Macrons and warm fresh bread for the last few months due stress/comfort eating so thought i would go to the gym. I get home and get my letters....

I have come to the conclusion my SEN caseworker is on some kind of mind altering drug and has such a vendeta against me that can not think logically, rationally nor get past his hang ups about me.

Questions put to LEA along with answers:

Can you show evidence of the maths teacher being a specialist for children with the difficulties as set out in xxx statement and delivered the programme?

Reply: school informs us that the teacher has been qualified for 10 years and teaching maths for 3

Can you please tell us the name and details of the Spld teacher along with the programmes and monitoring arrangements as per the statement. Could you also confirm the LSA to deliver the programme is trained as per statement. ( what the twit was unaware of is I already have an email from the teacher saying she has not had any involvement with my DS other than a general one off consultation with the SENCO advising her on what may work for DS, the LSA also completed her training at the end of July 2013 when DS had finished school, therefor was not trained to deliver the programme, that in turn did not actually exist anyway)

Reply: xxx was commissioned to supply a programme and provide training. LSA sucessfully completed the programme and delivered it to xxx

Could you please provide names and evidence of all the SLT provision as per the statement:

Reply: Mum of xxx told the SALT's we approached that she had complained about 2 previous therapists, therefore mum blocked us from providing the support.

Needless to say I am going back to Laudree and getting my warm bread. its either that or me sitting outside the LEA office in a car and running over the SEN caseworker...Why anyone (even a SEN caseworker) would think it is unreasonable for a parent to complain against a professional that has blatantly gone in and lied to a tribunal and in turn caused my DS to continue to suffer is beyond me.

why anyone would not complain against and SLT that was stealing money from the LEA as she was not actually doing the work that they hired her to do and went in a read a newspaper every week rather than set up and deliver a programme which was the reason she was employed and then had the audacity to not even keep notes, and I mean no notes whatsoever and in turn caused my DS to continue to struggle and suffer is beyond me.

Rant over...bloated with bread and now has pounding headache.

Bread was lovely, covered in french butter, I feel bloated now though :-(

If anyone else wants me to drive to their local LEA and "sort em" I will

Well, they've given you your ammunition, haven't they? Fire off a letter saying they are admitting they are in breach of their duty to supply what is in part 3, you are now looking at taking judicial review proceedings, they might like to sort things out immediately to avoid that. Then talk to a solicitor able to offer legal aid in xxx's name.

hoxtonbabe · 23/09/2013 13:56

I know nenny, I just find the whole thing annoying, I wish they would just fess up and say no, didn't do it and lets move on. its all this codswallop of trying to wriggle out of something that they really cant wriggle out of.

Has a tribunal ever told a LEA to bugger off and do what you are supposed to do rather than waste our time and months for a hearing if it is blatantly obvious that they have not done anything??

after the CAF last year, we really thought DDs school had it sussed, perfect Y1 teacher = fantastic year for DD

fastforward the summer break and seems the CAF has been washed away along with the suntan lotion and ice cream drips

DD (ASD ? SPD) has been sitting with her back to the fucking white board for a start
