How long from referral to appointment?

Ds was referred 4 weeks ago. I'm not expecting him to be seen for a long time but should we have had an appointment letter through the door before now? I don't want to call the docs and i wouldn't know where he is being referred to so can't ring there. I'd just like to know when his appointment is!

You need to ca the doctors and ask where they referred and then call the people who were referred to.

There are guidelines for referal times and so consequently games and loopholes.

I'd do it now tbh. If you wait weeks and find it is lost you'll kick yourself. You can be polite in your request. It's a reasonable one after a month.
