Just thought I'd share the biggest breakthrough in a long while
DD1 is 7 and has ADHD and ASD everyday is a struggle, she has no friends and barely scrapes through each day at school, we made the difficult decision to medicate and her doctor prescribed Equimysm (sp) 20mg. The difference in her has been astonishing, she's changed for the better, she's still her but a calmer nicer version, she's not horrid to DD2, she's made amazing progress at school, our home life is much much happier but the best bit of all is she's making friends, she never got invited to parties or to people's house but today she did and it went brilliantly, the mum commented on how lovely she was and said she could come back anytime, I cried for her because I was so happy. I was sooo against medication and for 2 years tried everything from fish oils to a dairy free diet. All I wanted to say is don't completely rule medication out its changed our lives and DD's life for the better Grin

I'm just so happy for her, she never gets invited anywhere because she's always seen as the naughty out of control kid. GrinGrin Bless her
