Family fund??

Just wondering if any has ever applied?
I have just sent a form off but I feel a little bad. She had global developmental delay (severe speech delay) she is 3 and non verbal and might be autistic. We bought a iPad for all of us to use and wow she loves it and is great at it, only thing is she buys things of eBay accidentally and other things lol. (Deletes photos and so on) so we thought of buying a v tech tablet but I know she won't understand it, but we really can't afford £400 :( so I applied for one, but I want it to be hers with just her apps to use when she wants! Is this bad x

Family Fund replaced half of my kitchen!

The last 3 years they have paid for my cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. I love them!!

How is something that will improve your DD's learning a bad thing??

Thank you, I just feel bad, like there must be people more needing of things and its a charity of that makes sense. But she would love it. Right now she is sitting on ours watching Thomas lol.

That's what its there for, anything that will benefit your child and it sounds like a tablet for herself will, its all learning for her.

The Family fund is registered as a charity, but have you ever looked into its history? It was created by the government to provide support to families, and virtually all of its income comes in a large payment from the government. To me its not a charity its a quango, and its not charitable grants you receive its a payment from the government,

Tbh they have helped us I don't think the funding source matters unless it was something totally unethical

Hi. Some one apply for family fund. Just want to find out about grand how they give money if they approved . Do they send money in bank . I have apply and waiting . Thanks in advance
