He's going away with school tomorrow and just announced that he wanted to take a pair of shoes that have laces so needed to learn.
He cracked it in 5 minutes - he's been trying for years! Grin

Congrats! Any tips? Wink

My only tip is to wait until they really want to.
DS is 16 now and just stared Sixth form.

Ds has been able very slowly and badly to tie a lace very loosely until now.
This year the only shoes I could get to fit that did not look like trainers ( which would result in him being sent home) were lace ups.
The OT showed him a trick to get the knot to stay tight and he is OK. A bit slow but absolutely no complaints getting them on and going out.
I am gobsmacked Grin

That's fantastic, fingers crossed my daughter will get it in the end!
