Head butting my arm and biting...

My ds is 7. He is going through some stress at the moment, just back to school and it is a new school as they have moved to Juniors, teacher quite strict. He is not sleeping well at the moment so is very tired and some of his behaviours are more pronounced. I noticed he is doing the head butting and biting a lot. It is not out of anger, more just to stimulate himself or get a reaction from me, I don't know. Does this ring bells with anyone?

We have been looking into possible 'issues' for a while, but haven't got very far. He has been assessed by an OT and possible has some sensory processing problems. Just wondering if this could be a small clue to the jigsaw so wanted to pick your more experienced brains on it.

Thanks

Sorry, I should have said he is my ds1. I have 2 other children and some of my concerns have been watching as they grow up and realising that there is something different in my ds1 from the other 2.
