statement following AR?

Dd had her first AR in early July this year.

Should we get a new/updated statment (not that a lot needs updating, I expect the statement to remain broadly the same) following the AR?

we have not received anything and Dd returns to school tomorrow. Hmm

What year at school was your DD in when this AR was done?. Usually these are rewritten in Y2 and Y5 (for preparation for secondary school).

If AR has no changes then the statement provided will stay the same; this is my experience. I usually receive a letter from my LEA subsequent to the AR stating their confirmation to keep level of support the same.

In your case you should receive a newly written statement from the LEA (leaving part 4 blank for you to name the Junior school) in about a year's time after the next AR. Again make sure that Parts 2 and 3 at this time are on the money.

DD had her AR in June and we did get the revised statement through the post two or three weeks later. In DD's case nothing much had changed either but I think even if nothing has changed the LA should still send a letter to acknowledge this.

It depends on whether the AR recommended any changes - if not, there won't be any. Either way, the LA should write telling you want decision they've made as a result of the AR and the process won't be complete until they have done so.
