My son has an ASD and every summer holiday no other holiday he has decided to use selective muteness and it is driving me crazy!
He started doing it before he broke up in the classroom
He has also decided to switch off from listening to anything you say to him and this has got him in bait of trouble at school.
Please could anyone offer me any advice on this as I think it might be me that is doing something wrong!
He has also got very rude to other adults he has contact with half the time he only talks to be rude
