Irlens lenses

My DD was recently advised by an optician at her recent eye test to see an Irlens diagnostician.

Has anyone had experience of the testing procedure and/or any comments on the effectiveness of the lenses for their DC?

My ds was tested Irelen Syndrome by an eye specialist, they simply put different coloured sheets over text to see if it made reading easier for him, it didn't.

They then tested him for tracking difficulties and he has a dx of oculomotor defiencies type 11, which means good 20/20 but difficulties with tracking.
