With a whole bunch of people about ds2 starting nursery after easter for a couple of days a week. What a great meet it was! Basically they told me that his statement notification is going to panel this thursday, to decide if he will be statemented or not, but I was told there is no question about it, he will be. One of these women at the meeting today is on the panel, and she was the one who told me. So they said he will get interim funding until the statement comes through properly, and...wait for it... it only takes 3 months around here ( not just according to the sn advisor, but also according to the pt )! He is definitely going to get 1 to 1 as well, and they are getting in special seating, toilet seat, and whatever else he needs to make it as easy for him and them as possible. I can't believe it's all going so well and without any fights! Why isn't all life this easy?!

So he is going to the nursery for an hour as a settling in visit at the end of march, then will have a nother visit on 1st april with all the professionals again. Then, he starts probably on 19th April, or thereabouts, and we can ease him in as gently as we want, even if we only come in for the last hour and stay with him the whole time.

The group who were attending today are going to see him in may and july as well, to make sure everything is ok, and when the final statement is finally through, they review it every 6 months until he is 5 apparently, then go yearly.

And the ones who hadn't met him before, fell completely for him! They kept stopping the meeting to say how gorgeous he was !
