IEP's - can someone make this target SMART pretty please.....

Hiya,
This was one of my sons targets and I'd like to go back to SENCO with it as a SMART target (which I don't think it is) could someone possibly help please

TARGET
To improve his reading and writing

STRATEGIES AND RESOURCES
In class TA, regular small group support

SUCCESS CRITERIA
Improved literacy levels

I'd be very grateful..... xxx

Reading target: To increase reading age by 6 months (or another realistic target) before next review (state the date) as measured by the (name the test).
Writing target: DC will be able to use capital letters and full stops (or whatever skill he needs to work on) correctly 90% of the time in 3 consecutive written passages by next review ( state the date).
