OT additional information questionnaire

I filled out a questionnaire for my DS 3 weeks ago, this was so that the OT could gather information before they offer an appointment. I still haven't heard anything back yet. Has anyone else done this? If you have how long was it until you got an appointment? Cheers

Ds was on the waiting list 18 months to see an OT, but once we had recieved the info form I think he was seen about a month later.
To be honest tho I think around my area they are pretty rubbish with kids with autism and it was a case of yes he struggles with a,b and c but we don't deal with that.
I've learnt more from this board and the Internet than the OT

ok thanks, that's a long wait for your DC. I think it was a month after the initial referrel to OT when we got the questionnaire. ASD does seem to be a full stop when it comes to some services, but at the end of the day how are we supposed to help our children if the relevant people don't point us in the right direction? must admit I have been having a lookie through this board too and it is very informative. I am awaiting a response for a SA for my DS so will be bobbing on here if they say no.
