Bluechick is too young for us to have experienced all this yet but I could relate to this based on hearing about the experiences of so many of you. Thought some of you would enjoy this!

Thanks for that Bluebird.

Although Ds doesn't have the same level of disability as the blogger's son, I can see we are going down that route.

It makes me want to scream. Especially as if I highlight something which I know is a major achievement or a major problem for Ds it is immediately 'all teenagers do that', it feels as if because it was the parent who brought it up.

What's so depressing is that even though none of this has happened to us yet I can nod along in agreement because of all the stories on here.

I wonder if any of these professionals read blogs like that? Are they really so ignorant of the absurdities that they inflict on people?

On a lighter note, I think we should serve the CP beer in the Goose and Carrot!
