Quoted SEb notional budget

I am going to appeal re sen as I want a different school for my son. one school says their SEN notional budget is £ 180K, the other £508K. They are both very similair in size but one is a split site, similiar in needs and Free school meals.

Does anyone know why they would be so different, and where can you get advice to help with a hearing to get to understand academy funding.

I think you really need to be posting in this ^ part of the board. Tis where you'll find the knowledgeable people.

I don't think SEN notional budget bears any relevance tbh to anything that you need to worry about. Either they can meet your child's needs or not. That is what you are asking for, not money.
