Amazing school report and now

DS is screaming and shouting because he's had to turn off his YouTube videos of level crossings to have tea.

His report was truly fab, above national expectations, His behaviour is exemplary, teacher signing his praises etc.

He comes home and immediately starts stropping about anything and everything. Total meltdown when he couldn't get the videos to work.

I'm so proud of his report but also, and here's where you'll flame me, irritated that school don't see the side of him I do. When we finally get his CAMHS assessment we'll be laughed out the room when they hear his school report.

I'm utterly terrified that they'll just say we're crap parents and send us on our way :(

I will film him, hard when he's flying at me to hurt me :(

He's got a Beavers BBQ later, they've said we can take water pistols. He's refusing as he says you can't wear clothes to have a water fight, only swimming stuff. Also looked very concerned when I said we would be eating hot dogs. He thought we meant actual dogs who are hot! So literal. I said he's very black and white to which he shouted " no I'm not I'm brown and peach!"

Sounds like my DS xxx
The teachers think he is really brilliant at school and are a bit Hmm about our description of his behaviour at home, but believe me. When the paed observed him, however, she picked up on lots of worrying inattentive etc behaviour that the teachers have been too busy to notice.
