Better thanks.

Making plans, looking forward to next year though sad to see dd go to school already because I feel I haven't had time to enjoy her at home yet.

Badvoc · 12/07/2013 19:35

I think Wet namechanged and I think she was on my thread under her namechange when I posted about winning our disability discrimination case back in March. Not 'seen' her since.

inappropriatelyemployed · 14/07/2013 22:14

Aaah, Wet, she has been given me so much great advice in the past. I hope she is well.

WetAugust · 14/07/2013 22:40

Hi

I'm touched that you still remember me Blush

I finished the chemotherapy at the end of March and am slowly returning to my new 'normal' and enjoying my retirement.

I lurk but rarely post on this board these days.

Best wishes to you all

X

Hope you enjoyed your picnic last Friday! And that the results were good! Smile Thanks for all the advice you gave me regarding my DS2 - we are waiting on his Maths A level result in August (and an Economics paper retake) and hoping he will get the grades for his uni place to do engineering this Sep.

WetAugust · 15/07/2013 09:43

Hi. The picnic was a great success, thanks. DS's girlfriend is Chinese so had to show her a 'proper' English one, with cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and clotted cream etc.

Fingers crossed for your DS's results Pannetone. Universities are so much better than schools at providing support. DS got the result he wanted so now has 2 good grade science Masters and so is planning a PhD.

Life is lovely and quiet at the moment Smile

Long may it stay that way.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 15/07/2013 11:30

Hi WetAugust,

Glad to see you around here again albeit infrequently. I have very much appreciated your advices on this board.

Wishing you and your family all the very best for the future.
