Hello! This is my first time on here, I'm stuck and looking for help and advice for my 9yr old daughter.
She has recently been diagnosed as having dyslexia and the school have been awful this term, her teacher has put her down and she has lost all her spark and self esteem. We have been un constant battle with school and now have a new teacher and an ed physiologist working next term to boost confidence.
At home she has regressed and lost interest in most things, she struggles to switch off and go to sleep at night which has a knock on effect with daily life. I feel lost and frustrated I'm looking to help her in whatever way I can. Any suggestions greatly welcomed

I would go into school and make an appointment with the SENCO.
She ought to have an IEP and you ought to have seen it.
Hopefully the new term and new teacher will change things.
