An uplifting blog entry of an autistic teenager's experiences with online learning. This lad is one with limited speech & classic autism, not the standard media stereotype "Aspie genius", so I found it especially heartening iykim. They've stated what the challenges have been.
(Been suffering from a bit of the ol' my cousins, sister's daughter became a rocket scientist in real life iykwim recently).
It also reminded me (at a time when perhaps I needed reminding!) that it's about finding the medium by which our children can learn and the environment in which they can thrive. Also that perhaps my desire to challenge the culture of low aspiration isn't totally insane.
