Hi all. I should find out today if my son has a place at special school and get his final statement this week. Just sitting here with a coffee contemplating making the call. I have name changed several times over the last year but this forum has been invaluable in seeing me through multi assessment, diagnosis, statutory assessment and how to handle school issues, not mention a bereavement. I can't think of a single person in real life who has offered even close to the support and practical advice. So here I am, 18 months down the line, wondering which way it is going to go.

Send me honks! I am procrastinating here, I need to make that call.

Lol I realised the mistake. I actually have just one very sad pan. Maybe I will buy it some new friends to celebrate. He's six and new school is four miles away, think I will be eligible for transport as have 9 year old at local school.

slang.....lol. I grew up in East London. If someone said they had a million pans they would be a)meaning 'pounds' and b)lying!

I don't know why but I now have an image of Peggy Mitchell going ' get outta ma pub'. I need to calm down, I'm a tad over excited. It will probably end in tears.
