The Boy They Call Chucky

Just caught the last 10mins of this and basically saw my dd's behaviour (i.e. the boy pouncing on his mum and basically having an outburst).

Can't seemto find it on +1 anywhere.

Did anyone watch it? What was the boy diagnosed with?

Thanks

The blurb on the website for the production company says

a rare cocktail of conditions - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia and Hyperkinetic Conduct Disorder the link to the site is here

Oh thanks. Maybe a bit worse than dd then! We are waiting for PCAHMS to see dd at the moment so time will tell. The way the boy was so physically violent was just like dd, but she is only 8.

I got in touch with his mum Cath after the program first aired as he was so similar to my son, we ended up being MSN buddies

Thats nice qo. How are the boys now?

Neo. Thank you. It is hard. And heartbreaking. And scary.

That sounds really similar to my 6 yr old ds, obviously he's not as bad. He does flip soo fast from being a lovely kind and caring boy to an aggresive hitting, kicking uncontroled boy. Afterwards he usualy says"Sorry Mum I just can't help it". Think I will try and get him refered to CAHMS before this behaviour starts occuring at school or when he's outside playing.

yes. I'm starting to feel scared for our and dd's safety when she blows.
DD talks of how her bad brain takes over and she can't stop make it go away.
Big hugs to everybody on here.
