Hi,
Does anyone know if this means My Ds has been awarded dla or not? ( I'm not good at waiting) .
I have a recieved a letter today from DLA saying what my legal responsibilities are if my ds is awarded anything. Do they send this to everyone or is it just if they award it?
Thanks.

Thanks Polter, yes I am going to ring them on Monday. I was just hoping that this might be a good sign. Oh well I will have to wait.

i have heard of lots of people getting the letter before they are warded so there is a good chance it is goods news for you but there could also be that slighty chance that you may not be awarded as well - its a horrible time waiting for the decision. also keep an eye on your bank account as they tend to pay the money into your account before you get the award letter

From what I can gather it means that they've made a decision but could be either way. I got one and received payment and my sister got one and was turned down.

we had it and got turned down. i thought this was a standard letter for everybody.

I think the letter is standard, we had one and were turned down initially.

I got one, and the first payment was made 2 days later. It took another day or two for the award letter to come, but it was actually dated the same day as the first letter.
