Tripartite funding and Dla

Dd's Dla (she is 16) stopped in January due to her going to a residential school, she then moved to secure accommodation (not a hospital) and is now back in hospital
I've been waiting for Dla to reinstate her mobility component- I know she can't receive the care while she is in res school or hospital (after 28 days) but should get the mobility for the time in res care?
I phoned them today and was told several forms had been sent to the LA to query funding arrangements.
If dd's placement in the res units were tripartite funded would she still get the mobility? The man on the phone didn't seem to know!

Have just completed a 9 month course with our sons LA and his advocate to get a better package using him as a live project for things over and above his basic care as an adult in transition from children's services. With the end result appointing a PA too administer his affair's

DLA mobility is still payable whoever funds the residential. But not hospital. Unless you're tied into aMotability agreement. See carers uk.
