Surely there should be a system where parents can register and appeal, mention these two things and have the judge insist that the LA deal with them within 14 days or be barred from the hearing?

i agree - my LA would accept either my SALT or OT reports even though they never got a salt report and their OT agreed with ours. They put it all in parts 5 and 6 and refused point blank all the way through to then concede the whole blooming lot on the morning but still then tried to argue mainstream

Absolutely brilliant idea. Surely tribunal judges get bored with seeing the same old vague, unquantified statements day after day? If councils knew that parents have a quick, easy remedy, just maybe they'd start mending their ways.
