Ds Asd is off school today, as I couldn't get him to go in.(long story!) So I told him he would have to come to Asda with me as I need to do a weekly shop. He said "Fine anything is better than school"
Well maybe not! Half way round they announced they were going to test the fire alarm and that nobody needed to leave the store. Well ds had other ideas and put his fingers in ears ears and ran shouting "get me out of here" I ran after him abandoning my trolley in the aisle. Once outside we stood a "safe" distance away from the shop and waited for the alarm, I calmed him down and we went back in. He kept asking if I was sure it was over, and safe to be back in and I reassured him . Big mistake! A couple of minutes later the alarm went off again, and again and again! This time there was no stopping him and I couldn't get him back in. I had left my shopping and car keys in the store and was outside in the car-park with a shivering sobbing wreck refusing to go back in.
Luckily the security guard came to my rescue, and a cashier rang my shopping up for me, and was able to nip back in and pay while a member of staff waited with ds.
Funny how school say he doesn't have any problems!!!!
