DS has been diagnosed with ASD. He has complex needs, hypermobility, weak core muscles, poor eyesight so along with the school are applying for a statement. I want him to remain in MS, which the school are supportive of and I think this is best for him. The school have submitted their request for a statutory assessment, and now the council have sent me the parental response to proposed assessment of special educational needs where they ask for information on the request for assessment. Does anyone have advice on what to include? I will work closely with the Code of Practice, but I wondered if anyone has used additional resource or have some gems of advice please???
