Video Resources for children on the spectrum

I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for any links you have to good videos for children on the spectrum to help them feel less alone and learn more about the condition and the varied differences. It's confusing for adults so I think it would really help with understanding.
My ds won't read any of the books he finds reading difficult to take in unless it's factual but he loves watching videos so it might be a good way to educate him more and get him talking about it.

My ds likes the Newsround special off CBBC called My Autism and Me. We sat and watched it together when it was first on, but he's chosen to watch it again this holiday.

He says it helped him to feel less alone and also to realise that people with autism are all different despite the fact they all have austism. There is a boy in it whose obsession is Warhammer and he was at pains to make me understand that he hates Warhammer and will never be interested in it! Grin He likes the girl who narrates it though (she has AS herself) and says she looks like a fun person.

There was another BBC one that we watched together and he says he really recommends that one. Not sure if it's the one you've asked about on your other thread. Think I've seen it on Youtube - I'll go and see if I can find it.

My ds liked that video as well I thought the girl who presented it was really good. I laughed at what you said about war hammer because my ds said exactly the same he hates fantasy games and anything he calls 'not real' he says what's the point!

Haven't found the Luke Jackson one yet, but did find another one by the same girl as above .

Still can't find the original Luke Jackson one, but have found him and his Mum talking at the Research Autism Conference .

Might not be one for your ds, but fascinating from a parental perspective.

Thanks that was good. I missed one of their presentations so its good to see that video instead.
