CALLING coppertop.....my fellow mumsnutter!

Part 1 of the CHARGER saga has begun!

I found a remote control car and 2 chargers and 2 batteries on Ebay- and including postage the whole lot is only £26....brand new each charger/battery set would cost (if i could get one!) £20- so that's £40 and then i get the car too......so IF the seller is honest....and i get it all- then at least that is ONE thing i will have sorted!

P.s hope no one is cross i posted this here....not relevent to SN really....except that ds1 will be exctatic! (mind you i've gone all out for him before and been met with his lukewarm reaction!!!!)

Oooh! I've got my own thread!

Good luck with getting the charger(s), MrsF. If you need any extra info I'll ask dh for his services (ooer!). I could always bring this round to an SN theme by saying that Luke Jackson's comments about liking batteries sounded just like dh. Dh has so many AS traits that it wouldn't surprise me to find out that he has AS. Then again, he says the same thing about me too! Maybe that's why you and I get on so well, MrsF!

I hope things went a little better for you today, MrsF.

Forgot to ask you which of the Forgetful family would be getting the new remote-controlled car. Will you be practising your driving skills while the young Forgetfuls are all at school?

i expect ds1 will want the car...but things have gone a step further now.... i've found another of the robots (COMPLETE WITH CHARGER!!!) on ebay...and i know ds3 would love it- ds1 and 3 can both tolerate noise and 'fighting' rough play- so can imagine them firing the missiles it comes with ....so may go mad and get that one too!!!

I do feel 'better' but am in the process of putting a letter to the head of the school - she's also the SENCO- to summarise ALL the probs i think the boys are having at school- so she can reconsider her position on ds1's statementing and ds2's needing a dx
