Just before Christmas ds lost his helium-filled balloon in Somerfield - it floated up into the roof. He was VERY upset but I promised him that Santa would get it and bring it back. Now I have a childminder helping out (it was BLISS going to Asda and leaving him in the cafe with her) I was finally able to get round to getting the balloon from 'Santa'.

I bought a pack of balloons and gave the assistant a pink one like the original to fill with helium. She wasn't too happy at first, some story about it being dangerous but she let me have it and even gave me some ribbon and didn't charge me. I hid it away and ds found it 'from Santa' beside the stove when he came home from nursery and was delighted. He played with it all evening and took it to bed with him! Bless him, he is so easily pleased.
