Heard yesterday (2 weeks late) that a statement has been approved by the panel for ds. Shd get the draft statement today or mon or tues. So, could be more fighting to do, but as the local auth person, you've got the statement and nothing will change that!

One step at a time but this is good news!

Once you get it, use the Cerebra guide for picking it apart checking it.

I couldn't wait for the post so I asked them to email it to me. They wouldn't do this but did fax (what century are they in?) it to the school where I picked it up.

Thanks - will definitely be checking the cerebra guide. Sad really to think that in the special needs world, I've learnt to trust no-one, question everything and presume that nothing will be straightforward... It would be so good to be pleasantly surprised!
