I'm in N Ireland so things might be a bit different! DS has downs, we have got the second letter through to say they are proceeding with gathering information begore makjng a recomendation and there is an option for us to comment now or leave it to later. Should I comment now or wait until later? It's not really clear what I'm supposed to be commenting on!!

I guess this is the equivalent of your parental contribution to the statement. I was given some suggested headings by my LA, development in the early years, then communication, physical issues, self help, social issues, what support you envisage being provided, strengths and weaknesses, etc. I wonder if IPSEA or SOSSEN have a guide?
