Second tier tribunal: any experiences?

Well we lost the tribunal against refusal to assess. Solicitor thinks there was an error of law and we stand a chance appealing.

I have not found much info online, apart from SOS!SEN guide. If I understand it correctly, in most cases parents do not have to be present, same for witnesses etc...Any experiences greatly appreciated!

babiki, sorry I have no advice; just wanted to say that I'm sorry you've had this news. Hope you are ok, and good luck with the appeal.

Well just in case of interest to other people: went to Ipsea training day and apparently the Upper tribunal decides if there was an error of law, and if they say there was, the case goes back to First tier in frint of new panel/ judge.
So we are going for it.

That's good to know babiki. I think you get 28 days to appeal? I agree there's not much information out there about it.

Yes, apparently not many people do it... Well it will be an interesting experience then :)
