Hi redheads my dd aged 6 has been on keppra for almost a year. While she doesn't have behavioural problems on it the neurology nurse told me it is one of the anti convulsants that can cause quite bad behavioural problems. I wonder would it be worth your while talking to neurologist to maybe change to a different drug. We are on our 4th drug now. Sorry I'm not more help

Hi Ferryman no thank you we are only on our 2nd drug and today we have been asked not to take her back to school until we can calm her down (punched a teacher ) dd is only 7 and she really has no idea what she has done..! We are waiting for a drug for ADHD but need the go ahead between two doctors. Now we cannot take her to school and we both work full time.

Hi redhead, not about the drugs but is the exclusion official because it doesnt sound like it is.

Schools can issue a fixed term exclusion or a permenent exclusion. As far as I know anything else is illegal.

If you want to check ask a specific question about the exclusion on here because there are some very knowledgable people around.

Sorry you are having to deal with this.
