we are hoping to relocate to Devon/Cornwall but DS is in the middle of assessments with the likely outcome of a diagnosis of either AS or dyspraxia - he has strong traits of both. We are fortunate in that our current area (Notts) has been v. quick to pick up problems in reception and to involve Incusion Support. Also he saw a paediatrician v. quickly and is seeing a SALT, physio and OT shortly for assessment. Are there any MNers in the SW who could recommend their areas or schools to us - esp. 2ndary schools? TBH I@m dreading the prospect of moving as DS doesn't cope with change and will struggle with new friendships etc. but hopefully this will be our last move - EVER!

I'm in Devon, but in Plymouth - be aware that there are different LEA's/HA in different areas of Devon. Which area are you thinking of?

Sorry to be vague, but at the mo. anywhere is an option. We have considered North Devon and the Plymouth area - can't afford S. Devon. DH is a family therapist so he'll go for jobs anywhere in areas we think might work for us. Would you recommend the Plymouth area - which parts??
