How long did it take you to get your tribunal decision?

I know I've still got a while to go - mine was last tues so not expecting it until next week but was just wondering when people got theirs? Did they get them exactly after 2 weeks, sometimes earlier or sometimes later?

My friend appealed over disability discrimination a couple of weeks ago and got her decision after 3 days!

Have to say the waiting is absolutely the worse part although now a week has passed things seem a little easier than they did last week.

I can't help as i've not had to face that, yet! However, i've got everything crossed for you :)

Ours took four weeks even though I know it's supposed to be much shorter than that. I remember I was shaking when I opened the envelope.

Ours came in about two days!

So eager was our shitty Tribunal panel to send out the bad news. We had not attended as they shifted the Tribunal to a venue 30 miles away at the last minute and we had moved schools. We asked them to deal with it on the papers.

They clearly had not even read them and the statement they issued was not even lawful in parts.

A proper court would never deal with things in this way.

6 weeks. Bastards!

Our case was so strong that I think it took them that long to figure out how to justify a loss, as well as include things that weren't in the evidence or spoken about on the day.

And the resulting statement had grammar errors and contradicted itself.

Yikes and here was I thinking it maybe over by next week! His doctors note runs out on tues and I was hoping I wouldn't have to go back and get another one as we are kinda in limbo now as at the tribunal the current school name has now been removed from part 4 and now has their school choice or my school choice named for the tribunal to decide. Don't really fancy phoning the GP next week as after she issued the last one she had the EWO on the telephone to her although the EWO has still never contacted me but paranoid now the EWO told her not to issue any more notes and get him back to school

Three weeks. But a friend of mine had to wait nine weeks, and then only got it after several calls and a formal complaint.

Goodness 9 weeks- I just assumed that everyone would get them within 10 days. I'm really surprised at the differences in time that people have had. I'm hoping my decision will be sooner rather than later due to the length he has been out of school especially as that was the first thing the tribunal asked about was him being out of school for so long. Nothing has come today though didn't think it would, I suppose I'm hoping that a miracle happens and we get it sooner rather than later. I also worry that the LA find out before me and I end up finding out by them phoning me to tell me which would be my worst nightmare - going to be hard enough reading the decision in black and white. I am preparing myself for the worst.

Times have varied between 10 days and 3 weeks and one day so far here.
