Hi, I'm just after some generalised info if anyone has the time to help me out :) Our special needs seven year old is in special school in Australia, he has a chromosome deletion with global delays and mental impairment.
I have right of abode in the UK as my mother is British, and we are contemplating a move, but I am of course wondering what the special needs education system is like over there. Are kids mostly able to attend special schools or is it mostly mainstreaming with teacher aide support?
I am hoping that a child having SN doesn't affect their right to come under my right of abode, so far I can't see anything indicating that it does.
It's just pie in the sky thoughts at this stage, but you have to start somewhere right!? ;)
Thanks! :)
