ds (2.7) met his new ot last week (last one was a disaster!)

she did a home visit during a portage session, she observed him playing with various toys to assess his fine motor skills, talked about his eating and drinking, discussed specialist seating that would help ds sit and play and support his trunk, and encourage extension in his wrists, left us with a sensory profile questionnaire and asked questions about sensory issues and talked about his upcoming statementing meeting.

Hi just read on here that at an OT assessment parents get given a sensory profile to fill in. If the OT agrees that the child really does need help with sensory stuff, how do they get it? It appears there is no money for this kind of thing Shock. Any info on OT and sensory stuff appreciated. Thanks
