Hi ds3 is under review for lots of things ..but dyslexia always seems to come up with bad organisation and messy and stuff.

My ds can put me to shame at how organised and tidy he wants things to be...I put the knife in the fork part of the cutlery drawer cos I just chucked it in and he reminded me sternly told me it didn't go there !!!

Could this "disorganisation/disorder go the other way as well as being too ...well precise ocd

He is very behind in everything and has SALT extra literacy/numeracy support .

Anyone come across this before
thank you

It can do. My DD is anal about things like the kitchen drawers, yet can't remember to take a pen to school. She's almost 15, it's not like she doesn't KNOW she needs a pen...

She will do homework then forget to take it to school to hand in, yet woe betide you if you dust her TV and leave one of her ornaments 3mm to the left of where it should be...

It's flipping infuriating at times!

Thank you Merry, for replying...Ornaments 3mm to the left ring a bell ..."you have been in my room "!!!.....but it will take ages for him to spot his mistakes in his homework where he hes got ..b/d wrong or missed the end/ings of words..

Still he does know what to do when the "big"white machine finishes its cycle...he splits it up and puts it into the "smaller white machine to dry"!!(without being told!)...ds1+2 ...doubt if they have even noticed a washer and dryer in the kitchen !!!

He is 8.7 yrs!

How is she doing at school ?

Not great, but she has 1001 other issues as well as the dyspraxia.
