Good for them-bloody brilliant people.
I've never been fortunate enough to talk to them but the excellent information on their website has transformed my life.

I also love linking to colleagues. Grin
That creates quite an effect.

blinking brilliant!!! trust them to do it now my journery nearly at an end but fantastic for the parents now to be able to do this. going to get my battle out of the way and then may volunteer for them myself

I bet it does Moondog.

Tbh, the Internet raises the bar for all of us!

The internet is the number one tool in the arsenal of a parent of a kid with SN.
Terrifyingly, for years, parents have been at the whim at peopel who masquerade as experts yet who don't know their arses from their elbows.

That's brilliant thanks, I have tried to phone a few times but not got through so this will be really helpful.

Yes this is good news. I called them a couple of weeks ago as I am in the process opf writing a parental response to a proposed statement and they gave me lots of useful advice. I will definitely be taking them up on the 45 min slot thing if/when we get to the next stage/tribunal.

Thanks Star. Has anyone managed to book yet? I've just been on and can't see any available slots at all - not just this week but in the coming weeks Confused

If they were showing and have all gone fair enough, but just checking in case it's me.

In the middle of rewriting my DDs statment for her transition to school which I need to get done in the next week and could really do with some support...

StarlightMcKenzie · 11/02/2013 16:57

Goodness me. If they've all gone already then they sure need volunteers!!!!!

Tbh I think there might be some sort of error. Just had another look and it tells you that you need to sign up for the service to be able to book an appointment yet when you click on the link you just get a screen showing a blank schedule - no option to sign-up.

Not sure how I would flag this up to them given that the only contact I can see is the advice line number Confused
