Quick query- if a child is placed on a part-time timetable who is responsible for ensuring that they receive the equivalent full time education e.g work given out to be completed?. Have an ongoing complaint but LA say that school are responsible for the education or lack of it.
Thanks

LA.

But it can be a bit more complicated.

First, get the part-time timetable in writing with rationale, and refuse to accept your ds home during school hours until you have this.

The school need to provide work for the child just as they have to for an exclusion.

Thanks Star. He was part-time for almost a year ostensibly because of a PSP being in place although I have noticed that he was part-time before they even implemented the PSP. No work was provided by school during that time.
